Things You Need To Know Before You Join

This mentorship is designed for people who want to develop their skills in Blender and 3D, while learning not only the software, but also how to approach creative and technical problems as a 3D artist. It is built around live learning, practical work, feedback, development and collaboration. This mentorship program is not a get “expertise” quick program, but it does provide a solid foundation and structure that leads there. The program will run for 2 months (8 weeks).

Mentorship Overview

CO-HORT 1 → Mentorship by ADVOLV • September, 14th 2026 - November 2nd, 2026.

This is more than a series of Blender classes or 3D tutorials. The goal is to create an environment where you can learn new 3D skills, understand the principles behind what you are creating, practice consistently and receive feedback on your work. You will also learn how to solve problems, develop your own creative direction, improve your workflows.

The mentorship combines teaching, practical development and review rather than relying on lectures only. You will be expected to actively participate and practice outside the live sessions.

6 Hours of weekly group sessions 1 Hour 1 on 1 Support session Group community with active mentor participation. 48 Hours of Live Group Sessions, plus up to 8 hours of individual support during the two months period.

REQUIREMENTS

Hardware

• A computer capable of running Blender
• 16 GB RAM minimum recommended
• Dedicated GPU recommended
• Stable internet connection
• Mouse and keyboard

Software

• Blender — Required
• Other software may be introduced where necessary, depending on the project or workflow.

Materials

• Notebook/sketchbook for taking notes
• Space to save Blender files, textures, assets and project resources
• Any additional project-specific materials will be communicated when needed

Important

You do not need a high-end workstation to join. However, your computer's capabilities may affect the complexity of projects you can comfortably work on.
